When we say “Bruce Payne Rules,” we have several things in mind. First of all, Bruce has the kind of intense presence and charisma that makes him the focus of attention in any scene, in any role. Nothing is wussy about Bruce Payne. His heroes are truly heroic, his villains are deliciously evil. No middle of the road. In our opinion, that rules!

The second sense in which we use this phrase is to describe many of his roles. Bruce often plays characters who don’t play by the rules or who make up their own rules.  They are mavericks, for good or for evil.  The heroes who don’t play by the rules include Jurgen, a character in three episodes of the TV La Femme Nikita, Gordon Pruitt in Operation Intercept  and the charming bad boy Frankie in Kounterfeit. The villains who played by their own rules include the regal Domitian (who literally ruled ), the charmingly evil Warlock, the ferociously evil Charles Rane in Passenger 57, the cop turned vampire in Full Eclipse, to name but a few.

We hope that these photos give you a taste of why we think Bruce Payne rules.  Though there is some overlap, the majority of these photos do not appear on our sister site Bruce's Angels or our brother site Kool Bruce Payne. We'll be adding more films and photos over the next few weeks.
