NECRONOMICON:
BOOK OF THE DEAD
No one does creepy better than
H.P. Lovecraft. When it comes to horror, Lovecraft rules. But in this
eerie story, Bruce gets to be the Hero instead of the Creep. We like it.
Edward De Lapoer goes back to claim his ancestral home near the sea and gets a lot more than he bargained for-- like a moldy dead wife with slithery tentacles instead of hands and a slimy "squid vicious" out to make him fish bait. Darn, we hate weekends like that. But our hero, swinging on the chandelier like Errol Flynn, flailing at the squidlike thing that is trying to swallow him, at last vanquishes the slimy monster. Don't check that book out from the library again! |
