The Apocalypse

Bruce Payne plays Emperor Domitian with imperious and imperial haughtiness. Every gesture is regal, every look is disdainful. Domitian is also quite mad, a state conveyed with both intensity and nuance by Bruce. Domitian played by his own rules for sure because he thought he was a god and demanded that people worship him.  This rule-breaking got him in a bit of trouble though; he was one of many Roman Emperors to be assassinated.

Visions of The Apocalypse

Our brother angel Qamiel has written an essay about
the meaning of The Book of Revelations. Since we have this
Apocalypse page, he has graciously allowed us to post it here.
This view does not  necessarily represent the view of the
Byzy Angels but we think it is thoughtful and interesting
and we believe in supporting our Angel brethen. Since the
film deals with John's visions in Revelations, we think the
essay is appropriate here. It gives further explanation as to
the meaning of the visions.
